about

This is a revisit of a song I made ages ago but never felt it was up to scratch to upload. I would have remastered that, but it was from before the epic computer crash of 2013, and I lost all the music files.

So yeah. Here's a song only related to the original in the form of the chorus <3 :D Hope you like it.

lyrics

~Lyrics~
The creepy creeper man’s evil, insidious weevil, spreading disease will leave you all in procedural upheaval;
a reckoning, I’m beckoning, please, you gotta believe me,
residual love unending, so your focus moves freely;

And stealing, the light, from the children who need it;
so the blind keep leading blind, and souls for demons who feeding’
and we’re heaving and seething, because we stop believing
in something greater than the ego of our notorious heathens,

(you gotta believe me)

—Chorus—
You should have known He won’t leave you to suffer
You should have known that wisdom’s never what we heed
When we see choices as the proof of God’s absence,
is when what we choice is never really what we need.

(You should have known…)

Pom-pom-Pompous and arrogant, look who’s back again;
responsible for rules we’re all too eager to be wackin’ in
to place and the frame, psychologically deranged;
(under cutting the ones who’ve never called out for change)

Empty men being content, with peppering blows,
onto the faces of the children, by His love, He chose,
to speak much louder than actions, could ever compose, and
when what you say keeps them up at night, you’re never suppose to be

taking life so personal, it’s happening again,
and wailing to ya mates, alienates all ya friends
You’re happening to this crap so lets not pretend
Because your pathetic nature is what His love defends.

(You should have known x3)
—Bridge—
Cry out to Grit Child, the pegs have been set out everywhere
to help me navigate this God-forsaken wonderland of fear
No one wants to tell me or help me understand why I’m here,
Clench your fist and hold my hand, this world may take us anywhere.

—Chorus—
You should have known He won’t leave you to suffer
You should have known that wisdom’s never what you heed
When we see choices as the proof of God’s absence. (is when)
When what we choice is never really what we need.

You need to know, he won’t leave you to suffer,
despite whatever you know, His wisdom’s never what you heed
When you make choices in the wake of God’s absence,
You can never rely on the differences in between.

(You should have known x3)
